These terms apply to the Containment app and this website, made by BishBash. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Containment on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. Please don't copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the app, or use it to break the law.
Online games
- Choose a player name that isn't offensive and doesn't impersonate anyone. Names are visible to everyone in your room.
- Only share your room key and invite link with people you want to play with.
- Online play depends on internet connections and third-party services, so we can't promise it will always be available or that a game won't be interrupted.
- Don't try to interfere with other players' games or the service behind them.
Premium
Premium is a one-off in-app purchase through Google Play that unlocks 6–10 seats and special roles. It's tied to your Google account, and you can restore it on another Android device signed in to the same account. Payments, refunds and cancellations are handled by Google Play under its terms; this doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and availability
We may update the app, add or remove features, or stop offering it. If we make a change that takes away something you paid for, we'll try to give you reasonable notice.
Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what data the app uses.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of your local consumer law.
